HERAKLION MUSEUM and KNOSSOS
This excursion consists of a visit to the Arch Museum of Heraklion to see its collection of the treasures of the Minoan civilization followed by a guided tour of the famous Minoan Palace of Knossos.

PHAESTOS, GORTYS, MATALA
This tour begins with a stop at the Palace of Phaestos, the second important archaelogical site after Knossos. Second stop is at Gortys, the old capital of Crete during the roman period. Last but not least, a stop for a refreshing swim at the beach of Matala with its carves of limestone cliffs.

SPINALONGA - ROBINSON'S DAY
We travel by coach to the fishing village of Elounda from where a boat will take you to the fascinating island of Spinalonga. There, we visit the fortress built by the Venetians in 1526. The excursion continues at the island of Kolokitha for a swim and a fabulous BBQ by the beach.
 

PLATEAU OF LASSITHI AND THE CAVE OF DICTE
We will travel towards the west slope of the Dicte mountain and the picturesque plateau of Lassithi with its thousands of windmills. A very interesting visit of the Cave of Dicte, the mythical birthplace of Zeus " Father of Gods", will follow.

SAMARIA GORGE - CHORA SFAKION
We will travel by coach to Mount Omalos and to the famous Gorge of Samaria, a gorge renowned for its wild and rugged beauty. After an exciting hike through this breath-taking scenery we arrive to the traditional village of Aghia Roumeli. From there, we continue our trip with a relaxing boat ride to a typical Cretan village, Chora Sfakion, where the coaches will be waiting for us.

SANTORINI
We depart early in the morning and enjoy breakfast on board a cruise ship that will take us to the volcanic island of Santorini. Once at the port, we will take donkeys or a funicular to the island's capital, Fira, where you will be swept away by the impressive view. After the stay in Santorini, we can enjoy a wonderful buffet dinner on board the ship, as we return back to Crete.

RETHYMNON / CHANIA
We enjoy a unique view driving west of the coastal road and passing asides the main mass of mount Psiloritis, the highest mountain in Crete, until we arrive at the picturesque town of Rethymon. This old town is built on a headland at the end of which is the small but well-preserved Venetian fortress of Fortetza.

After our visit we continue to the westernmost prefecture of Crete, Chania. The sights of Chania are concentrated mainly in the Old Town, which is centered on the pretty Venetian harbor. The historic Firka Fortress, the Naval Museum, the Venetian neighborhood of Topanas, the large walls of the Venetian fortress, built in 1540, are among the most interesting sites of the city. On our way back we make a brief stop at the war cemetery of Souda Bay.

IERAPETRA / SITIA / VAI
Though Ierapetra - short stop - the southernmost town in Europe, we drive on to Sitia, a peaceful harmourtown. Not to far away lies the monastery of Toplou, famous for eastward, the palm forest of Vai. Time for swimming.

CRETA EVENING
Have an unforgettable night in Crete style at an out of time village. There you will enjoy traditional local dishes with free wine which will be offered. Through the whole evening there is entertainment by local and Greek music and Cretan dances from village dancer in traditional costumes. You are also invited to join some of the dances.

UNKNOWN CRETE
We start our adventure by driving through Peza to the village of Thrapsano, where we watch potters at their wheel, continuing the tradition since ancient times. Continuing through the beautiful landscape with its small villages, short stop by Martha for photos and then proceed to Viannos, where you can try out the local raki. Soon we continue over Mythos to the south coast for lunch. In the afternoon we drive over the narrowest part of Crete, where you can see the north and south coast at the same time by the villages of Anatoli and kalamafka. Our last stop is Neapolis, for a soumada almond- drink and ending this unforgettable experience.
